Indocyanine Green Trans-Cyclooctene (ICG-TCO) is a bioorthogonal derivative of the clinically approved ICG fluorophore (ex/em 780/810 nm), featuring a strained trans-cyclooctene (TCO) group for ultrafast inverse electron-demand Diels-Alder (IEDDA) reactions with tetrazines. This water-soluble reagent enables rapid (<5 min), copper-free conjugation under physiological conditions while maintaining ICG's clinical imaging performance and safety profile.
For complementary tetrazine reagents, consider ICG Tetrazine. Store under argon at -80°C to preserve TCO reactivity.
