DESCRIPTION
Cyanine7 Maleimide is a thiol-reactive near-infrared dye (ex/em 750/773 nm) for covalent conjugation to cysteine residues and other sulfhydryl groups. This non-sulfonated reagent forms stable thioether bonds under physiological conditions (pH 6.5-7.5), making it ideal for site-specific protein labeling and cellular imaging with minimal background fluorescence.
For aqueous applications, use sulfo-Cyanine7 Maleimide. Store under argon at -80°C protected from light.
