DESCRIPTION
Cyanine5 Hydrazide, a carbonyl-reactive near-infrared fluorophore (ex/em 649/670 nm). Non-sulfonated reagent with excellent solubility in organic solvents (e.g., DMSO) and limited aqueous compatibility. The hydrazide group enables selective conjugation to aldehyde/ketone moieties under mild conditions (pH 5-7) for glycoprotein labeling and glycan detection applications.
For aqueous solutions, use sulfo-Cyanine5 Hydrazide. Store desiccated at -20°C protected from light and moisture.
