DESCRIPTION
Cyanine5 DBCO is a copper-free click chemistry reagent (ex/em 649/670 nm) for strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). This non-sulfonated dye features a dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO) group enabling rapid, catalyst-free conjugation to azides under physiological conditions. Exhibits excellent solubility in organic solvents (e.g., DMSO) and limited aqueous compatibility.
For water-soluble applications, use sulfo-Cyanine5 Azide. Store under argon at -80°C protected from light.
