DESCRIPTION
Cyanine5.5 TCO is a bioorthogonal near-infrared reagent (ex/em 675/694 nm) featuring a strained trans-cyclooctene (TCO) group for rapid inverse electron-demand Diels-Alder (IEDDA) reactions with tetrazine derivatives. This non-sulfonated probe enables ultrafast (<5 min), copper-free conjugation for time-sensitive applications including live-cell imaging and in vivo tracking.
For aqueous systems, use sulfo-Cyanine5.5 Tetrazine. Store under argon at -80°C to preserve TCO reactivity.
